Current projects have included playing guitar, acting and singing in a series of musicals produced by Chthonic Theater in Oakland. He has also been a regular guest playing his odd acoustic guitar based songs in their variety show. Most importantly, he likes dark chocolate more than a sane individual should.

New Songs Released!!

We just finished four new songs:

With Care From Someone
She's My Sister
Lately
Love Song

As with most of our music, these songs fall into a range of genres. A little info about the songs:

With Care From Someone is a cover. It's written by Gene Clark, Douglas Dillard, and Bernie Leadon.

If you like it, you should go listen to the original version of the song and two others that we've found - one by New Grass Revival and the other by Motorpyscho. All these other versions of the song are heavily blue grass.

We decided to interpret the song differently then it's been done before. One reason is that we have Wally Schnalle playing drums and he's a very talented and popular jazz drummer in the San Francisco Bay Area.

She's My Sister is a song Suzanne wrote for her sister, Janice. It's a happy, loving gift to her sister who died in January of 2008 of colon cancer at the age of 45. The 'Ponies performed the song at a party Janice gave a few months before her death. We have wonderful memories of her cracking up laughing at some of the lyrics - especially "she doesn't like the way I sing..."

Suzanne had a specific idea in mind when she wrote Lately, but we're not going to share that information because we've found that everyone has their own interpretation of the song and we don't want to influence yours. We'll just suggest that you turn your volume to 11 and enjoy it!

Love Song was intended to be a simple country-ish ballad, but one day Suzanne was listening to a Dido song and was inspired to try something new. So we striped it down and rebuilt it. We had to re-record the lead vocal because the original recording sounded to "acoustic".

That's all for now!
